Beautiful Embedded Rose Three Part Compact with personal inscription
from 1949. This is a real find for any collector of compacts.
This unusual compact is in inscriped with the words "With Love
To Ardeth From Bryan 1949". The story behind this compact and
inscription is unknown and it can be left to your imagination.
This heart shaped compact opens to a gold heart and the gold
heart flips open to reveal the inscripted message. This gold
heart is the cover for the indented heart compartment, that
can be used to hold a small treasure. The compact itself has
some scratches on it and whatever latches were used to make
the compartments snap into a secure locked position are
missing.
Company name inscribed on the compact is Superb U.S.A.
Size is 3" height by 2 3/4"wide by 3/4" deep. The inside
compartment (that can hold an item) is less than a 1/4"
deep.
